You encounter a black screen that looks like this:

To solve the issue:


  1. run the Registry Editor
  2. go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
  3. righ click on Userinit and select "Modify"
  4. then enter the following value : " C:\Windows\system32\userinit.exe,C:\wsession\logonsession.exe, "
  5. and click "OK".
