HTML5 Pros :

Easy to set up,
Easier connection for the client,
transforms the Desktop and applications into web applications.

HTML5 Cons :

Not possible to mount local devices : printers, scanners, COM and USB ports,
direct print cannot work, you need to use the Universal Printer that will generate a pdf document in a new tab of the web browser.
