Are users and groups saved when I make a backup with Remote Access? Print

This Remote Access documentation indicates how to perform a backup : https://docs.dl-files.com/tsplus/advanced-backup-database/

However Remote Access can't backup the Windows users and groups you have created.

TSplus will only backup your TSplus configuration.

To migrate Windows accounts, we recommend using a tool like CopyRight2.

Web Credentials are backed up, and the information is located in these hidden files: webcredentials.ini and webcredentials1.ini.

Published Applications and Assignments are also backed up, and the information is located in this file: Appcontrol.ini.

Before applying the restore, you may need to modify the AppControl.ini file. If you are restoring a backup to another server, or if the server has a different name (and is not within the same domain), it will be necessary to modify the assignment of the accounts from OLD-HOSTNAME/user to NEW-HOSTNAME/user for each deployed application, in order to match the file with the actual Windows accounts.
