When using remote desktop connections on a low bandwidth network, there are a couple helpful Remote Access configuration tips that can help manage the impact of slow networks.


Using low color settings and no drive or peripheral redirection within the session, will increase performance significantly. Removing wall papers and desktop animations can also help keep sessions more stable over slow internet connections.


Here is a procedure that prevent a TSPlus server from logging off remote sessions when using slow or unstable internet connections 


Click on start menu, execute, type in "gpedit.msc" and enter.



Open and locate the following folder : Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Remote Desktop Services/Remote Desktop Session Host/Connections



Double click on Automatic reconnection, then click OK.
